Hello!
Hi, my name is Brian Lambert. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Texas (#100230) and work under the supervision of Ana Valenzuela, LPC-S. LCDC.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston-Downtown, a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University.

My goal as a mental health clinician is to help individuals with debilitating and traumatic experiences find wellness, freedom, and hope for a better life. I believe in a collaborative approach when working with clients, helping each individual develop personalized counseling goals and a plan to achieve them.
Therapy Specialties
I have experience counseling individuals, couples, families, teens, and children. I utilize a systemic approach to addressing challenges, incorporating techniques from a wellness model of mental health, aiming to foster positive mental health to the fullest extent possible.
I tailor my counseling techniques to suit the unique needs of each client, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy.
I respect all belief systems and acknowledge the substantial research supporting the effective integration of religion, spirituality, and faith in therapy. Believing that faith can aid in coping with psychological disorders, preventing unhealthy behaviors, and fostering resilience, I will incorporate these elements into therapy with the client’s consent.
I look forward to working alongside you to help reach your goals and potential!
